
ABOUT LEGENDS LACROSSE
Legends Lacrosse is a year-round, invitation-only girls club program based in South Jersey. Founded by Kristy DeCarlo and Kim Knapp, the program's goal is to foster friendship and a love of the game. The program currently has six teams of 2031-2035 athletes that compete in fall and spring tournaments and do winter training.

About the Founders and Coaches
​
Kristy (Gallagher) DeCarlo (center) serves as Director of Lacrosse Operations for Legends Lacrosse. Kristy brings nearly two decades of coaching experience to Legends. She has coached hundreds of girls ages 4-18, a dozen+ going on to play at the D1 level. Kristy went to Cherry Hill East High School and graduated as a two time All-American with two time All-State Honors. In 1999, she was a member of the US U19 Women's World Cup team. She played lacrosse for the University of Richmond and was named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. In 2015 she was named to the Chery Hill East Athletic Hall of Fame. She has four kids and lives in Haddonfield.

Kim Knapp (left) serves as Director of Business Operations for Legends. She has a passion for lacrosse and a background in business. She has two daughters and lives in Haddonfield.

Andy (Fortino) Klingner (right) is a coach with Legends. She grew up in Medford and played for Shawnee. Andy then played defense for the University of North Carolina, where she earned a spot on the All-Atlantic Coast Conference women's lacrosse team and was a two time All-American and Tewaaraton Candidate for National Player of the Year in 2003. She has two kids and lives in Medford.

Erin Wasnick is a coach for Legends. She grew up in Delran and was a 4 year varsity starter for the Delran Bears in both lacrosse and field hockey. She earned multiple accolades in both sports, including All South Jersey and player of the year honors. Erin then continued her lacrosse career as a midfielder for Rutger University, where her team was ranked nationally and earned NCAA bids. Erin has a love, passion, and knowledge for the game, and brings several years of coaching experience to the Legends Family. Erin is also an avid runner who had completed 20+ Broad Street Runs, and 4 Boston Marathons. She currently lives in Haddonfield with her husband and 2 kids.

Lauren Laigaie also coaches for Legends. She grew up in Voorhees and played lacrosse and soccer at Eastern then played D1 Lacrosse at Saint Joseph’s University. She loves early morning workouts, the beach, & family time!

​​​​​​Allie Asjes played soccer, basketball, and lacrosse at Collingswood High School and lacrosse for the Temple Women’s Lacrosse team from 2004-2007. Allie had a successful career at Temple with her team winning the Atlantic 10 Tournament in 2004. She was selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Championship Team all four seasons, was a 3-time Atlantic 10 First Team, 3-time IWLCA/US Lacrosse Regional All-American, and named the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year in 2005. Allie then coached at Rutgers University Camden from 2010-2022. Allie currently lives in Haddon Township with her husband and two kids, Alvera and Harrison.

Keri (White) Krimmer grew up in Medford and played basketball and lacrosse for Shawnee. Keri played D1 Lacrosse at Coastal Carolina University from 2013-2017. ​Keri was a midfielder/attacker for the Chants. She was a captain in 2016 and 2017. Her accolades include 2017 ASUN All-Conference Second Team, 2017 ASUN All-Tournament Team, 2015 All-Big South First Team and 2015 Big South All-Tournament Team. She finished first in CCU history in points and goals. Keri currently lives in Tabernacle.

Kaitlyn (Cuneo) O’Hara will be a Legends Lacrosse coach for the 2035 team. Kaitlyn brings almost a decade of coaching players between the ages of 4 and 18. Kaitlyn graduated from Cherokee High School in 2002 and has since been inducted into the Cherokee High School Athletic Hall of Fame for soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. During her high school athletic career Kaitlyn earned 12 varsity letters and was a starter in all three sports throughout her four-year career. Within all three sports she earned All-Conference, All-State, All-South Jersey Group IV, All-Star Teams, All-County, All-Group IV, South Jersey Player of the Year, and All-American status. Additionally, as a two guard, Kaitlyn led Cherokee’s 2002 basketball team to the South Jersey Group IV Sectional Championship and was just 24 points shy of joining the 1000 career points club. Kaitlyn made sure she didn’t fall short in lacrosse as she scored over 100 career goals for Cherokee High School.
Upon graduation, Kaitlyn went on to play lacrosse at Boston University, where she was a four-year starting defender/midfielder. Conference accolades included three-time Season Champions, All-Rookie Team, four time All-Conference Team, and All-Championship Team. Kaitlyn also earned an All-North Region All-American selection. The Boston University Women’s Lacrosse Team entered the 2005 NCAA Tournament ranked 3rd in the nation.
